Terms & Policies
CANCELLATION POLICY + BOOKING CLASSES
Cancellation Policy: All classes must be canceled 5 hours prior to the class start time. Late cancels & no shows will be subject to a $20 fee. No exceptions during this time.
Waitlists: If you are moved off the waitlist, you will receive an email or text. If you are on the waitlist and you are moved into a class, it will be assumed you are still able to attend the class. If you can no longer make it to class & you are still on the waitlist, please remove yourself immediately to avoid late cancellation or no show fees
Booking Classes: All classes must be booked online either using the SoulSpeak Mobile App or through our website. We do not accept walk-ins.
MEMBERSHIPS
In-Studio Memberships: All memberships (excluding intro months) work on an auto-renewal contract. To cancel your membership to ensure you are not charged the following month, please email connect@soulspeakyoga.ca 15 days prior to the date of your next charge.
5-Month Memberships: Students are required to pay all 5 months, if the contract must be terminated before the 5 month commitment is up, a $99 fee will be charged. Please note that memberships will continue to auto-renew past the 5 month commitment until cancellation is requested.
Infinity Membership Perks: Bring one friend free once/month, discounts on workshops, pause membership once/year, unlimited towel service & free mat rentals, access to both studio locations.
Intro Months: Unlimited classes at SoulSpeak South and West. Cannot be paused. Does not include +1 booking.
Class Passes: Class passes are a one time fee and never expire. You can use your class passes to bring a +1.
All passes including The Intro Month, Infinity Membership, Class Packs and Drop In’s are non-refundable, no exceptions.
FAQ
IT’S MY FIRST TIME AT SOULSPEAK: HOW SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We do not accept walk ins, you must book your class online or through the SoulSpeak mobile app before attending a class. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get set up! Please bring your own mat, unless you would like to rent one, mats are $2 to rent. Check the location you booked, South studio is located at 1178 Bank, West studio is located at 1226 Wellington West,
WHAT IS PROVIDED AT THE STUDIO?
Blocks, bolsters and straps
Showers with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
Hair dryers
Water cooler
Tea
Toiletries such as tampons, hair elastics, dry shampoo, etc.
DO I HAVE TO BRING MY OWN MAT AND TOWEL?
We ask that students bring their own mats and towels if they can, however, we do provide mat and towel rentals for $2.
Any other in-studio props such as blocks and bolsters that you may need for class are available to use for free.
CAN I SHOW UP WITHOUT REGISTERING BEFORE HAND?
Nope. Please create an account and schedule your class before you show up, we do not accept any in-studio payments or walk-ins.
Do you have an App?
Yes! We have a mobile app - it is available for both Apple and Android devices and can be purchased in the app store. This is the easiest way to view your account, book classes, cancel classes and purchase products/services.
I’M A BEGINNER: WHERE SHOULD I START?
First time? Don’t sweat it! We have beginner classes every day of the week. Here’s what we recommend: Soul Blend, Soul Flow x Slow & Soul Yin.
Are your classes heated?
Some classes are heated and some are not. Check the class description, ‘warm’ indicates heated, otherwise the class will be room temp. Warm class temperatures range from 30-35 degrees.
Why Yoga?
We can almost promise you’ll leave our studio feeling more energized than you did walking in. Yoga is all about strength, balance and flexibility in both the body and the mind. We offer a variety of styles, but here are some of the benefits you can typically expect from one of our classes – increased flexibility/mobility, muscle strength and full body toning, improved energy, circulation, digestion and respiration, protection and recovery from injury and sense of well being and peace both physically and mentally.
Is there parking near by?
Our Old Ottawa South location has parking, we are located right in the parking lot. Our Wellington West loction does not have designated parking, however, there is 2hr street parking.
When do memberships and Intro Months Activate?
Your membership or intro month will activate on the date you take your first class.
Do you have lockers?
We do not have lockers. Doors are locked during classes to ensure the safety of your belongings in the change rooms.
